Your data stays with you

Last updated 3 November 2026.

Park Su has no accounts, no adverts, no tracking cookies and no analytics. The only cookie keeps your car, if you choose to save it. This page explains the few places where data leaves your device.

Search

When you search for a place or a postcode, your browser sends the search text to postcodes.io, a free open data service. Park Su does not receive or store your searches.

Your location

If you tap Use my location, your browser asks for your permission first. We use your location only to center the map. We round it to about 100 metres before it goes into the page address. Our host can record page addresses in its logs for a short time.

The map

The map tiles come from OpenFreeMap. Your browser requests them directly, so OpenFreeMap receives your IP address and the area of the map that you view.

The timer

The parking timer and your car's location stay on your device. The calendar reminder is a file that your device makes and opens. Nothing goes to our servers.

My car

If you save your car, we keep its number plate and details on your device, in the browser's storage. We also set one cookie with the same details, so your browser can bring your car back if it clears its storage. The cookie lasts up to 400 days and only goes to parksu.com. We keep no copy on our servers. Tap Remove from this device on the My car page to delete all of it.

Hosting

Our hosting provider processes standard request logs, such as IP addresses and page addresses, to run and protect the site.
